Theodore Joseph Thompson, 77 of Warrenton, died August 28th, 2008 at the Gainesville Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Born March 22, 1931, Warren, Ohio, he was the son of Charles and Josephine Cook Thompson. Mr. Thompson was an Engineer for the Grinnell Mechanical Products.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his twin sister Jean Holcomb, and his beloved dog, Emmie. Survivors include one niece, Rebecca Weeks and her husband George of Winchester; three great-nieces, Jeanne, Catie, and Mandi; one great-nephew, Bart; and one great-great nephew Parker.

The family will receive friends on Friday, September 12th, 2008, from 10-11:30 a.m. at the Baker-Post Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 10001 Nokesville Rd. Manassas. Funeral Services will begin at 11:30 a.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel, with interment to follow at 1:00 p.m. in Quantico National Cemetery, Triangle, VA.
