Virginia Temple  Davis
Virginia Temple Davis (Ginny), age 89, a resident of Manassas, VA passed away on January 9, 2023, at UVA Prince William Medical Center in Manassas. Ginny was born on September 8, 1933, in Sugarloaf Township, Pennsylvania to the late Freeman and Neva Temple. She worked as a clerk 3 for the Prince William County Public Schools in the Food Services Division and retired after 23 years of service.

Ginny was a beautiful soul, mother, grandmother and a great grandmother who enjoyed caring for her numerous house plants, bird watching, and supporting her church. Ginny was loved by all who knew her. She was a caring person who made friends easily. She will be remembered by all for her gentle demeanor and smile that lit up the room.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Merrill, and several of her brothers and sisters, Lena Harps, Stanley Temple, Freeman Temple Jr., Ronald Temple, Franklin Temple, and Beatrice Dunn.

She is survived by her sisters Dorothy Miller of Pennsylvania and Helen Marr of Virginia, and her three children; Debra Howell (Wayne), Tina Davis, and Darryl Davis; four grandchildren, Greg Howell (Deborah), Jeff Howell (Pam), Zoe Violet (Beth), and Amanda Loase (Michael Kiser), and one great grandson, Charles Loase.

The family will receive visitors at Baker-Post Funeral Home, 10001 Nokesville Rd, Manassas, Virginia 20110, on Monday, January 23, 2023, with a viewing from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 am in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Quantico National Cemetery at 1:00 pm.
