Obituary for Virginia Dare Riggles
Virginia Dare Riggles, 72, passed away April 22, 2020 at the Reston Hospital Center. Virginia was born July 22, 1947 at home in Fairfax Station, Virginia, the sixth of eleven children.
She had a lifetime of challenges, but always met them with strength and humor.
Virginia took pride in her many jobs over the years, including working at Blockbuster and Safeway. In her free time she enjoyed being with her many friends and especially loved going out to eat. In recent years, Virginia took pleasure in playing bingo and blackjack, doing crafts, singing, going on shopping trips, and getting her hair and nails done on a weekly basis.
Virginia’s faith sustained her throughout her life.
Due to the recent COVID-19 restrictions, a private funeral service was conducted by Rev. Jon Ulm. Interment took place in Stonewall Memory Gardens, Manassas, VA. Memorial contributions may take the form of a donation to the charity of your choice.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Baker-Post Funeral Home & Cremation Center, under the direction of Michael Post. Please sign the guestbook at www.bakerpostfh.com
