Life is so short. Life is like a vapor, here today, gone tomorrow. I have failed in my life so many times. If I end up half the man You were, I will have accomplished something special. I am going to miss you Jim. Thank you for being a rock and standard I knew was always a phone call away. Love ya!

Well today the world is a darker place for not only my best friend Steve Hines, Judy Hines, Leighann Lightfoot Hines, Katie Hines, the rest of the Hines family, and myself but also for each one of you reading this. Jim Hines my "Adopted Father" stepped into eternity. There is absolutely no way I could describe how much I loved this man. So much wisdom was enveloped in him. He was such a standard to live up to. I am so thankful I was able to let Luke meet him. My heart is broken beyond words. Please keep the Hines family in your prayers.

Condolence From: Michael G. Hines
Condolence: I will miss my father. He was larger than life man who always had a story or his time to share with so many. I was lucky enough later in life to see him as others see him because to me, he was always Dad...the one who made sure we did what was right. :-) I think it was at Cindy and Tom's wedding that I started to see a different side of the man that was my Dad, but to so many others, a friend. He was an affable man always ready with a smile and stories that he loved to share with so many. Rest in peace, Dad. I love you.
