Visit to VA

My first visit to Virginia after Sharon and Rich married.  I was sharing Rosie’s room and remember sleeping in the top bunkbed.  I was startled awake by a strange noise around 7 AM coming from the living room.  Leaning over the bed to shake Rosie awake I said, “what is that noise?? It sounds like a vacuum cleaner.”  Rosie responded quiet drowsily, “It’s Rich!” shaking her head and waving me to go back to sleep.  “Are you kidding me… It’s Saturday morning?” I shouted.   “Yeah we learned after the fact… He’s a neat freak...” Rosie grumbled.

Laying back down and putting the pillow over my head, I thought “Oh my goodness they are going to kill each other! They will be lucky to last a year…” Sharon was the opposite of a neat nick.   To all of our surprise they smoothed out each other’s rough edges to make a perfect circle.   Rich will be missed!
