Condolence: For some reason, Fred came to mind today. I worked for Fred at his PamE'k's Donut shop on Main street in Fairfax Va way back in 1985. I also worked with his son Ric... I managed the shop for several months. He was a lovely man. I send my deepest sympathies to his surviving family members. May he Rest in Peace.

Condolence From: Gary Lipkin
Condolence: I have just stumbled across the news of Mr. Knight's passing. I was a great fan of Mr. Knight's daily weather segment on Channel 5 news, back in the days when it was a MetroMedia station. He was a pleasant fellow with a relaxed manner that really came across well on TV. I was sorry when he left the station. Parenthetically, I was also a regular at his PamEK Donut Shop in the Bradlick Shopping Center in Fairfax County. He lived a long life and was a welcome presence for many Washingtonians. RIP.
