Condolences

Condolence From: Chris Meyer
Condolence: Dear Lore, I'm so sorry to hear about this just now. I would have loved to been able to connect with the Colonel after all these years. I remember fondly our time together in the 7th CSG, closing down Nürnberg and moving to Bamberg, as well as our time together on the J4 staff at US EUCOM in Stuttgart. My thoughts are with you, your family and his friends. Peace and Love, Chris Meyer, Fürth, Germany

Condolence From: COL(R) Jack Vance
Condolence: My condolences to the Perkins family on the loss of COL(R) Fred Perkins. I was fortunate to get to work with Fred during his time as Commander, 7th Corps Support Group in Germany. He was always professional in every part of his leadership and had a positive influence on me and many other military members. He will be greatly missed.

Condolence: My little brother was an inspiration to me. He was my pal when we were boys and was a great example of soldier and leader when he became a man. I shall miss him greatly. God Bless. Lorre and Charley, you are in my prayers. Mike

Condolence From: COL(R) Steve Koons
Condolence: Lore, what a shock. I am at a total loss for words but Andrea and I have you in our thoughts and prayers and send our best during these terrible times. Freddie was a great friend, fellow transporter/Colonel, and a meticulous professional. He was without a doubt the smartest logistician I served with and could AWAYS be counted on to help and support soldiers both deployed and in garrison. In addition, his sharp wit and keen sense of humor will always be remembered. He will be missed by everyone who knew him God Bless. Steve
